Symposium on general principles of administrative law
The Conference of the Young Bar of Brussels organizes a symposium on June, the 1st and 8th on the general principles of administrative law. Many members of Equal will speak!
Failure to comply with the general principles of administrative law by the administrative authorities is today one of the main sources of administrative litigation and it is rare that a plea raised in this context is not taken as a result of the infringement of one of these principles.
The ambition of the two afternoons of studies organized on June 1 and 8, 2017 by the Conference of the Young Bar of Brussels and of the publication which will record their content, is to offer practitioners a state of the case law and legal literature on the main principles of administrative law. They will be studied from two perspectives: on the one hand, the analysis of the principles themselves, their scope and their transversal use in administrative litigation, and on the other hand the application of these principles in different fields of the law, in order to provide practitioners with a toolkit enabling them to best mobilize those principles in their daily practice.
